Additional fees

The full fee schedule (I-20 fee, recurring semester fees, CPT course fees) is not published yet. Beyond H1B sources every institution field from the school's admissions office, DSO or published catalog, so this section stays empty until it is verified and dated.

Current F-1 and OPT students may be authorized for CPT from day one. Overseas applicants and change-of-status applicants are not eligible from day one. CPT is renewed each semester for up to a cumulative 12 months and is not required for graduation.

Integral CPT is only lawful when the employment is a required, credit-bearing part of your program of study, authorized on your I-20 by the DSO, and matched by continuous full-time enrollment. Twelve or more months of full-time CPT at one degree level removes OPT eligibility at that level.

08Institution FAQs

Which CTX programs offer Day 1 CPT, and when can I start?
Current F-1 and OPT students in the hybrid graduate programs may be authorized for CPT from day one of the program. Overseas applicants and change-of-status applicants are not eligible from day one and must wait until they meet standard F-1 CPT requirements.
How often must I come to campus, and what is the course load?
One residency weekend per term in Austin, running Friday 1:00 PM to Sunday 12:00 PM, with three courses covered across the weekend. The rest of the coursework is delivered online.
What are the CPT work-hour limits?
Full-time CPT is available while you remain enrolled full time and in good standing. CPT is granted per semester up to a cumulative 12 months; exceeding 12 months of full-time CPT at one degree level forfeits post-completion OPT eligibility.
How long does the MBA take, and how many credits are required?
The core MBA runs about 20 months at 32 credits. The specialization tracks run 44 credits over 20 months, and the Data Science and Analytics Leadership track is completed in about 16 months.
What are the admission requirements?
A minimum GPA of roughly 2.8 to 3.0, English proficiency of TOEFL 80, IELTS 6.5, PTE 64 or Duolingo 120, plus your highest transcript, resume, passport and financial proof. Beyond H1B offers a flexible admission plan and can help explore an English waiver.
How fast are admission and CPT approvals?
Applications routed through Beyond H1B are typically processed in about 5 days. CPT renewals should be submitted at least two weeks before the semester begins.
