Scholarships
Scholarship amounts, fee waivers and processing times describe a commercial relationship. They publish only once the agreement with the institution is signed.
05Format and attendance
Annual travel burden: about 3 round trips a year, roughly $450 - $1,200 per year. Travel is often larger than the tuition gap between two schools, so we compute it rather than leaving you to.
06CPT policy
Current F-1 and OPT students, overseas applicants and change-of-status applicants may be authorized for CPT from day one. CPT is renewed every year, is not required for graduation, and can be issued while an extension of status is pending.
Integral CPT is only lawful when the employment is a required, credit-bearing part of your program of study, authorized on your I-20 by the DSO, and matched by continuous full-time enrollment. Twelve or more months of full-time CPT at one degree level removes OPT eligibility at that level.

- How often are on-campus sessions required?
- International students attend one onsite class per academic term, roughly three times per calendar year. Sessions are usually held Friday and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

- MS and MBA courses are $499 per credit, and DBA courses are $650 per credit. IWU offers a no-interest ACI payment plan with a $25 setup fee so students can pay in monthly installments.
- What format does the program follow?
- Programs are hybrid: most coursework is online, with one required onsite session per term. This format lets students work while they study.
- How long does CPT authorization take at IWU?
- Once all required documents are submitted, CPT is processed with the DSO on a case-by-case basis. Applications routed through Beyond H1B can be processed in about five days.
