04Tuition, fees and scholarships
Additional fees
The full fee schedule (I-20 fee, recurring semester fees, CPT course fees) is not published yet. Beyond H1B sources every institution field from the school's admissions office, DSO or published catalog, so this section stays empty until it is verified and dated.
Scholarships
Scholarship amounts, fee waivers and processing times describe a commercial relationship. They publish only once the agreement with the institution is signed.
05Format and attendance
Annual travel burden: about 6 round trips a year, roughly $1,500 - $3,600 per year. Travel is often larger than the tuition gap between two schools, so we compute it rather than leaving you to.
06CPT policy
Current F-1 and OPT students, overseas applicants and change-of-status applicants may be authorized for CPT from day one. CPT is renewed every semester and is required for graduation through the CAPS 623 virtual internship course.
Integral CPT is only lawful when the employment is a required, credit-bearing part of your program of study, authorized on your I-20 by the DSO, and matched by continuous full-time enrollment. Twelve or more months of full-time CPT at one degree level removes OPT eligibility at that level.

08Institution FAQs
- Is BAU accredited?
- Yes. Bay Atlantic University is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE).
- Who is eligible for CPT at BAU?
- Current F-1 and OPT students, overseas applicants and change-of-status applicants may be authorized for CPT from day one of the program. Students must be enrolled full time, remain in good academic standing, hold employment directly related to a specific academic course, and receive DSO endorsement on the Form I-20 before starting work.
- Can I change employers while on CPT?
- Yes, but the new position must be directly related to your program of study and must be authorized before you begin. Submit a valid job offer letter and BAU's CPT form signed by you and your academic advisor for review and approval before employment starts.
- What happens if I miss in-person sessions?
- Residency weekends are mandatory for international students and are graded as part of the course. Missing them can affect your grade and your F-1 status, so contact your academic advisor and the DSO office immediately if you cannot attend.
- How often are onsite attendance requirements?
- At least one residency weekend per semester, held Friday through Sunday around the midterm period and totaling about 20 instructional hours.
- Can I take a term break?
- No. International students at Bay Atlantic University cannot take term breaks.
