Additional fees

The full fee schedule (I-20 fee, recurring semester fees, CPT course fees) is not published yet. Beyond H1B sources every institution field from the school's admissions office, DSO or published catalog, so this section stays empty until it is verified and dated.

Scholarships

Scholarship amounts, fee waivers and processing times describe a commercial relationship. They publish only once the agreement with the institution is signed.

05Format and attendance

Onsite scheduleOne mandatory onsite session per two-month term, so twice per semester. Sessions run Saturday 9:00 AM to about 7:00 PM (sign-in, orientation, DSO guidance, coursework, dinner and networking) and Sunday 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (career services, leadership development, further DSO support and reflection).

Annual travel burden: about 6 round trips a year, roughly $1,200 - $2,700 per year. Travel is often larger than the tuition gap between two schools, so we compute it rather than leaving you to.

Current F-1 and OPT students, overseas applicants and change-of-status applicants may be authorized for CPT from day one of the program. CPT is renewed every term and requires employment verification from both the hiring manager and the academic advisor.

Integral CPT is only lawful when the employment is a required, credit-bearing part of your program of study, authorized on your I-20 by the DSO, and matched by continuous full-time enrollment. Twelve or more months of full-time CPT at one degree level removes OPT eligibility at that level.

Where Beyond H1B can advocate for an exception (for example an English-test waiver), we describe it as advocacy. The decision belongs to the institution.

08Institution FAQs

Does Avila University Arizona offer hybrid CPT programs?
Yes. Programs are hybrid: coursework runs online with one mandatory onsite weekend residency per two-month term, and CPT is available from day one of the program for eligible applicants.
How often does CPT need to be renewed?
Every term. If the employer and job duties are unchanged, a renewal form is enough. Any change requires a new CPT application.
Can students take a break during the program?
MBA students may receive an I-20 of up to three years. After 18 consecutive credits, which is three semesters, students may request a one-semester break and can apply for CPT work authorization during the vacation period.
